A Little Bit About Me…
Hi! I’m Orla
I’d love to introduce myself and share a little about why I created this space.
I offer a warm, supportive place for people who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, disconnected, or simply in need of someone to talk to. My work combines talking therapy with Breathwork, helping both the mind and body find balance and healing.
I believe healing is not only about understanding our thoughts, but also learning how stress, trauma, and emotions live in the body. Through gentle conversation and guided breath practices, I support people to feel calmer, more grounded, and more connected to themselves.
My approach is also shaped by my own lived experiences. Like many people, I’ve faced challenges that have taught me the importance of resilience, compassion, and having the right support at the right time. Those experiences help me meet others with empathy, understanding, and without judgement.
This is a space for encouragement, healing, and growth. Whether you are struggling right now or simply curious about personal wellbeing, you are very welcome here.
What is Conscious Connected Breathwork?
Conscious Connected Breathwork is a gentle yet powerful practice that uses continuous, connected breathing to support emotional release, nervous system regulation, and deeper self-connection. It helps release stored stress and emotions held in the body, creating space for calm, clarity, grounding, and inner healing. Guided with care, each session offers a safe and supportive space to reconnect with yourself exactly as you are.
Soma (pronounced SOH-ma)
is the Greek word for “the living body”.
In therapeutic and wellness practices, soma refers to the body as more than just physical structure - it includes our felt experience, emotions, nervous system, and inner awareness. Soma-based work gently supports the connection between body, breath and mind, helping us reconnect with ourselves in a grounded and compassionate way.
“I’d only ever done Breathwork led by an online facilitator before, so my first session with Orla was my first time doing it with another person in the room. Orla made me feel completely safe, secure and looked after, and I’ve had great Breathwork experiences in her care.”
